Chandler, DATE: October 16, 1998 <br />County Administrator <br />TBRouw: James W. Davis, P.E., CONSENT AGENDA <br />Public Works Director <br />FROM: Donald G. Finney, SRA_.�-, <br />County Right-of-way Agent <br />SUBJECT: 10111 Court at 371�h Place Right-of-way Acquisition <br />Additional right-of-way is needed north of 37t!l Street to extend 10th <br />Court to medical zoned properties. <br />The property owner has presented a signed contract to the County <br />for the extension of 10t21 Court at 37th Place for the west 44 feet <br />of Lot 1 of the Medical Service Center Subdivision. This new road <br />extension will create a new right-of-way, for future drainage and <br />access to medical properties. <br />The Public Works staff considers the Contract For Sale and Purchase <br />reasonable and equitable for medical zoned and recorded platted <br />lots. <br />Staff request the Board of County Commissioners approve the $65,000 <br />purchase and authorize the Chairman to execute the contract. <br />Funding to be from the One Cent Sales Tax - 315-214-541-066.12. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board, by <br />a 4-0 vote (Commissioner Eggert being absent), <br />unanimously approved the $65,000 purchase from <br />Medical Service Center and authorized the Chairman <br />to execute the contract, as recommended by staff. <br />COPY OF CONTRACT ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OCTOBER 27, 1998 <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />-9- BOOK 10.7 PAGE 3,3. <br />
