Authorize staff to proceed with a St. John's River Water Management District <br />grant application to possibly defray a portion of the construction costs associated <br />with project implementation. <br />Funding for this work effort will be from Account No. 472-000-169-323.00. <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners approve staff's plan of action as outlined above. <br />Utility Services Director Don Hubbs noted that his department has been working on <br />this study for more than a year and a number of alternatives have been analyzed. This is a <br />small portion of the plan. <br />Commissioner Ginn expressed a desire to have some of the items in the study go <br />before the Utility Advisory Committee, and Commissioner Adams suggested that a workshop <br />be held to reintroduce the master plan to the new commissioner after the first of the year. <br />CONSENSUS was reached that an updated utility department workshop would be <br />held after the first of the new year. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously approved staff's plan of action as <br />outlined in the Memorandum. <br />COPY OF STUDY IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />12.A.
