December 1, 1998 <br />REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Regular <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25'h Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, December 1, 1998, at 9:00 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth <br />R. Macht, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Caroline D. Ginn; and Ruth Stanbridge. Also <br />present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; and Patricia "PJ" Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Tippin called the meeting to order. <br />2. INVOCATION <br />Reverend Joe Simmons of the First Baptist Church delivered the Invocation. <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Commissioner Macht led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Stanbridge requested the addition of Item 13.E., Department of <br />Environmental Protection, Florida Greenways and Trails Seed Grant Program. <br />Commissioner Adams requested the addition of Item 13.C., Comment on LAMAC <br />meeting. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously <br />added the above items to the Agenda. <br />DECEMBER 1, 1998 <br />-1- <br />boY I l f"E <br />
