PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS <br />PROCLAMATION DESIGNATING FEBRUARY, 1999 As "LEAVE A LEGACY <br />MONTH" IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />The Chairman presented the following Proclamation to Mike Kint of the United Wav: <br />PROCLAMATION <br />DESIGNATING FEBRUARY, 1999 <br />AS "LEAVE A LEGACY MONTH" <br />IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, the residents of Indian River County have consistently displayed their charitable <br />nature through many charitable works in our community; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planned Giving Council of Indian River, a group of planned giving <br />professionals, has undertaken the Leave a Legacy Program to foster and encourage charitable giving <br />throughout our community; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the month of February, <br />1999 be designated as , <br />LEAVE A LEGACY MONTH <br />in Indian River County, and the Board encourages the residents of this county to consider charitable <br />giving as part of their estate plan. <br />Adopted this 19th day of January, 1999. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Kenneth K Macht, Chairman <br />Mike Kint, of United Way and on behalf of Leave A Legacy, thanked the Board for <br />its assistance and recognition.
