INC. - REQUEST FOR FUNDING <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of January 27, 1999: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: January 27, 1999 <br />SUBJECT: TREASURE COAST FOOD BANK, INC. REQUEST FOR FUNDING <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Treasure Coast Food Bank is requesting an emergency agency grant in the amount of $9,500.00 to <br />renovate the Treasure Coast Food Bank warehouse. In August 1998 the Treasure Coast Food Bank <br />purchased and moved into the facility at 1102 S. U.S. Highway # 1 in Ft. Pierce which unfortunately needs <br />renovation. <br />Their projections for these renovations are as follows: <br />Air Conditioning <br />$18,900.00 <br />Cameting <br />$5,900.00 <br />Electrical Repairs <br />$3,500.00 <br />Plumbing <br />$1,500.00 <br />Locks and Security <br />$1,050.00 <br />Painting Interior <br />$2,000.00 <br />Painting Exterior <br />$9,500.00 <br />New Roof <br />$35.000.00 <br />Fencing <br />$1,500.00 <br />Lot Paving <br />5 000.00 <br />Si a e <br />$1,500.00 <br />Contractor <br />$8,900.00 <br />Moving Expenses <br />$1,500.00 <br />TOTAL <br />.750.00 <br />They applied to counties for funding using a formula that was based on the emergency food distributions <br />that were made in each area.
