He urged the Board to have a classification and salary study performed by an outside <br />consultant for all County employees. This had not been done since 1988. He respectfully <br />suggested that an oversight committee consisting of County Commissioners and interested <br />citizens be established to oversee the study and work with the County Administrator and <br />Personnel Director. Upon completion of the study, it would be brought to the Board. <br />Administrator Chandler responded that he had met with Mr. Grobman and he did not <br />disagree with Mr. Grobman's suggestion for a study on classification and pay plan. He <br />explained that it was a question of timing and priorities from an administrative perspective. <br />He explained that the County has reached the outer limits of timing for a new study to be <br />done and reviewed.
