RESOLUTION 99-013 - PAVING AND DRAINAGE <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO 9TH COURT SW BETWEEN OSLO ROAD & <br />11TH STREET SW - AS -BUILT RESOLUTION & ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of January 28, 1999: <br />TO: James Chandler, County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.E., Public Works Director <br />and <br />Christopher J. Kafer, Jr., P.E., County Engineer <br />FROM: Nfichelle A Gentile, CET, Civil Engineer ")It <br />SUBJECT: As -Built Resolution & Assessment Roll for Paving and Drainage Improvements to <br />9"' Court SW between Oslo Road & 11"' Street SW - IRC Project #9326 <br />DATE: January 28, 1999 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The paving of the above road has been completed. The final assessment is as follows: <br />Preliminary Estimates <br />Final Cost <br />$ 65,637.76 - 100% <br />$ 65,633.35 - 100% <br />$ 50,212.89 - 75% <br />$ 50,209.52 - 75%* <br />337,588.35 SF <br />337,588.35 SF <br />$ 0.14874 per SF <br />$ 0.14873 per SF <br />* This figure includes 2% Tax Collector's fee <br />The final assessment roll has been prepared and is ready to be delivered to the Clerk to the Board. <br />Assessments are to be paid within 90 days or in 2 equal installments, the first to be made twelve <br />months from the due date and subsequent payments to be due yearly from the due date at. an interest <br />rate of 7 3/40/a established by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefitted owners is less than the preliminary assessment roll, the <br />only alternative presented is to approve the final assessment roll. <br />RECOMIINIENDATION <br />It is recommended that the final assessment roll and the "As -Built Resolution" for the paving of the <br />above mentioned road be approved by the Board of County Commissioners and that it be transferred <br />to the Utilities Department for collection. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1) As -Built Resolution <br />2) Find Assessment Roll (Exhibit "A") <br />3) Final Costs <br />FEBRUARY 9, 1999 <br />31 <br />• <br />BOOK �.Q PAIGE 304 <br />
