February 9, 1999 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Regular <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25' Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, February 9, 1999. Present were, Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran B. Adams, <br />Vice Chairman; Caroline D. Ginn; Ruth Stanbridge; and John W. Tippin. Also present were <br />James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. <br />2. INVOCATION <br />Commissioner Ginn delivered the invocation. <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />County Attorney Vitunac led the Pledge to the Flag. <br />4. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Macht requested the addition of item 11.G.3., Curbing Replacement in <br />Rockridge (Culverting the DOT 16" Street Drainage Ditch) and moving 11.B.1. and I I.B.2. <br />to 14.A.1 and 14.A.2. as these two items are Emergency Services District matters. <br />Commissioner Stanbridge requested the addition of 13.D. I., St. Johns River <br />Celebration and 13.D.2. American Heritage River Program. <br />Commissioner Tippin requested the addition of 13.E.1., Collection of Tourist <br />Development Tax and 13.E.2. Tourist Development TV Advertising for Dodgers Spring <br />Training. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously made the above <br />changes to the agenda. <br />FEBRUARY 9, 1999 <br />1 <br />BOOK 108 PAGE 274 <br />
