I <br />BOOK FAGS <br />Planning Director Stan Boling reviewed the Memorandum. <br />Commissioner Adams Questioned whether the off-site sign on US#1 past 65' has <br />been permitted, and Director Boling stated that he will check into that. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard <br />regarding this matter. <br />Attorney Bruce Barkett, 756 Beachland Boulevard, for the applicant, believed the <br />Murphy Act reservation has already been released and the application for the sign permit has <br />been submitted. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone else wished to be heard in this matter. There being <br />none, the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Tippin, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, the Board <br />unanimously approved the conceptual PD plan with <br />the conditions as set forth in the Memorandum and <br />adopted Ordinance 99-003 amending the Zoning <br />Ordinance and the accompanying Zoning Map from <br />IL, RS -6, RM -6 and A-1 to PD <br />COMMERCIAL/RESIDENTIAL for approximately <br />185.21 acres of land generally located on the south <br />side of 65' Street at 3745 65' Street (Southern <br />Dunes Golf Club, Inc.) <br />ORDINANCE NO.9y-0 3 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM IL, <br />RS -6, RM -6 AND A-1. TO PD COMMERCIAL/RESIDENTIAL FOR <br />APPROXIMATELY 185.21 ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED ON <br />THE SOUTH SIDE OF 65TH STREET AT 3745 65TH STREET; AND DESCRIBED <br />HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />FEBRUARY 16, 1999 <br />
