ON MOTION by Commissioner Tippin, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Stanbridge, the <br />-Board unanimously granted the rezoning to PD <br />commercial/residential, approved the conceptual PD <br />plan with the conditions set forth by staff, including <br />the correction to Item 1.D., and adopted Ordinance <br />99-004 amending the Zoning Ordinance and the <br />accompanying Zoning Map from CH, RS -6, RM -6, <br />and A-1 to PD Commercial/Residential for <br />approximately 316.02 acres of land generallylocated <br />on the south of CR -5 10 and between 58* Avenue <br />and the FEC Railroad (Windsor Properties - Red <br />Stick Golf Course). <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99- 0 4 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM <br />CH, RS -6, RM -6 AND A-1 TO PD COMMERCIAL/RESIDENTIAL FOR <br />APPROXIMATELY 316.02 ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED ON <br />THE SOUTH OF CR 510 AND BETWEEN 58TH AVENUE AND THE FEC <br />RAILROAD; AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is <br />consistent with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County and the county land development <br />regulations, including but not limited to the Planned Development (PD) Process and Standards for <br />Development chapter, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, in conjunction <br />with the rezoning request has approved a PD conceptual plan (see EXHIBIT B, attached) that <br />controls and regulates development on the subject land; and <br />MARCH 29 1999 <br />• <br />-25- BOOK 103 FACE 479 <br />
