DeBlois;-�QCP <br />Chief, Environmental Planning <br />DATE: March 3, 1999 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Amendment to the Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area Inter- <br />governmental Management Agreement to Include the Flinn Tract LAAC Site <br />It is requested that the information herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of <br />County Commissioners at its regular meeting of March 9, 1999. <br />On June 17, 1998, the ±37.6 acre Flinn tract on south Indian River Boulevard was acquired under <br />the County environmental lands program with cost -share funding from the St. Johns River Water <br />Management District (SJRWMD) and the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND). Prior to that, <br />on February 3, 1998, the Board of County Commissioners approved a cost -share participation <br />agreement with SJRWMD and FIND to acquire the Flinn tract, stipulating that an intergovernmental <br />management agreement would subsequently be drawn up setting forth the levels of management <br />responsibilities among the three agencies. <br />MARCH 9,1999 <br />13 <br />BOOK 103 FADE 3 <br />
