ANNUAL LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL REPORT FOR FY1997-98 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of March 8, 1999: <br />TO: THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />DATE: MARCH 8, 1999 <br />SUBJECT: ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT <br />i <br />FROM: EDWIN M. FRY, JR., FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />Section 218.32, Florida Statutes, requires that each unit of local government submit a financial report <br />covering its operations during the previous fiscal year. The report must be submitted within 45 days <br />after the completion of the audit report, but no later than 12 months after the end of the fiscal year. <br />The Indian River County Annual Local Government Financial Report for the fiscal year 1997 - 1998 <br />has been prepared and is ready to be submitted to the Department of Banking and Finance in <br />Tallahassee. The report is to be signed by the Chief Financial Officer and the Chairman of the Board <br />of County Commissioners. <br />I respectfully request the Board of County Commissioners authorize the Chairman to sign the <br />County's Annual Local Government Financial Report for the fiscal year 1997 - 1998. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Stanbridge, the <br />Board unanimously approved the County's Annual <br />Local Government Financial Report for the Fiscal <br />Year 1997-1998 and authorized the Chairman_ to <br />execute same, as recommended by staff. <br />MARCH 16, 1999 <br />COPY OF REPORT IS ON FILE IN TBE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />BOOK JOS <br />-9- <br />• <br />
