Macht, Chairman <br />Indian River County Board of County Commissioners <br />1840 25th Street <br />Vero Beach, FL 32960 <br />Dear Mr. Macht: <br />Attached are the acceptance documents for the annual Local Law Enforcement Block Grant for <br />$78,577. The 10% cash match of $8,731 will be covered by the Indian River County Sheriffs <br />Office forfeiture monies. The grant will be used to further the Sheriffs Office mobile computing <br />project (attached is the original application and budget worksheet). <br />Please accept this letter as our request to have the attached award placed on the consent agenda <br />for March 16, 1999. The award has been made pending return of the acceptance documents, as <br />attached <br />In addition, as part of the Special Conditions of Block Grants (No. 14., page 4 of 5), a public <br />hearing must be held prior to obligating fiords. Please accept this letter as our request to place <br />this item on the agenda for a future public hearing, pending the proper advertised notice.
