Cox, P.E., Civil gineer6b-- <br />SUBJECT: Request for Floodplain Cut and Frill Balance Waiver for Lot 14, Block 10, <br />Vero Lake Estates, Unit No. 1 <br />REFERENCE: Project No. 99030165 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />DATE: April 13, 1999 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Ameron Homes, Inc. has submitted a building permit application for a single family residence on the <br />subject property. The site is located in an AE special flood hazard zone, base flood elevation 22.3 <br />ft. N.G.V.D. In the attached letter from the applicant's engineer dated April 2, 1999, a waiver of the <br />cut and fill requirements is requested. The lot area is 1.06 acres. The volume of the 100 year <br />floodplain displaced by the proposed grading plan is estimated to be 251 cubic yards. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The waiver request has been reviewed by staff and appears to meet the criteria of Section <br />930.07(2)(d)4. of the Stormwater Management and Flood Protection Ordinance for lots located in <br />the Vero Lake Estates Municipal Services Taxing Unit. <br />APRIL 209 1999 <br />-19- <br />• <br />BOOK ' PAGE 5- t <br />
