• <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board, by <br />a 4-0 vote (Commissioner Tippin being absent), <br />unanimously adopted Resolution 99-053 setting a <br />time and place at which the owners of properties <br />located in the Sebastian Phase II -C Water Expansion <br />Area (in an area north from Vocelle Avenue along <br />Layport Drive) and other interested persons may <br />appear before the Board of County Commissioners <br />and be heard as to the propriety and advisability of <br />constructing the water main extension, as to the cost <br />thereof; as to the manner of payment thereof, and as <br />to the amount thereof to be specially assessed <br />against each property benefited thereby. <br />Time and Place (Second Reso.) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99. 53 <br />4199(reaol3ebl lc)Vk= <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING A TIME <br />AND PLACE AT WHICH THE OWNERS OF PROPERTIES LOCATED IN <br />THE SEBASTIAN PHASE II -C WATER EXPANSION AREA (IN AN AREA <br />NORTH FROM VOCELLE AVENUE ALONG LAYPORT DRIVE) AND <br />OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS, MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD <br />OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND BE HEARD AS TO THE PROPRIETY <br />AND ADVISABILITY OF CONSTRUCTING THE WATER MAIN <br />EXTENSION, AS TO THE COST THEREOF, AS TO THE MANNER OF <br />PAYMENT THEREFOR, AND AS TO THE AMOUNT THEREOF TO BE <br />SPECIALLY ASSESSED AGAINST EACH PROPERTY BENEFITED <br />THEREBY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br />Resolution No. 99- SL , determined that It is necessary for the public welfare of the citizens of <br />the county, and particularly as to those living, working, and owning property within the area <br />described hereafter, that a waterline be installed to serve 525 parcels located in an area north <br />from Vocelle Avenue along Layport Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost to be specially assessed with respect <br />thereto shall be $0.204577 per square foot; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has caused an assessment roll to be <br />completed and filed with the Clerk to the Board; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 206.06, Indian River County Code, requires that the Board of <br />County Commissioners shall fix a time and place at which the owners of the properties to be <br />assessed or any other persons interested therein may appear before the Board of County <br />Commissioners and be heard as to the propriety and advisability of constructing such water <br />main extension, as to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment therefor, and as to the <br />amount thereof to be assessed against each property benefited thereby, <br />JUNE 191999 <br />-35- <br />0 <br />BCGK ��, ` PAGE <br />
