GRANT (MULTI -AGENCY DRUG ENFORCEMENT UNIT) <br />PROJECT GENERATED INCOME - BUDGET AMENDMENT 020 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Indian River County Sheriffs Department wants to apply to the state to use anti-drug abuse grant <br />M.A.C.E. Unit income in the amount of $4,449.19. The M.A.C.E. Unit income was generated from <br />confiscating property in drug related activities. The Sheriffs Department will use the funds to <br />purchase the items as shown in the attachment. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the use of funds for equipment <br />and authorize the Chairman to sign the Project Generated Income. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn., SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously <br />approved the application to use anti-drug abuse grant <br />M.A.C.E. income in the amount of $4,449.19 as <br />reflected on Budget Amendment #020, as <br />recommended by staff. - <br />JULY 69 1999 <br />9 <br />-20- <br />
