He <br />displayed a graphic of each location on the ELMO and recommended the Board adopt the <br />proposed ordinance. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard in <br />this matter. There being none, he closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance No. 99-018 amending the Zoning Ordinance and the <br />accompanying Zoning Map from RM -6 to CON -1 for property <br />located along SR AlA between Sea Oaks and Indian River <br />Shores; and from RS -1 and A-1 to CON -1 for property located <br />west of SR AlA at the intersection with Jungle Trail; and from <br />A-1 and A-2 to CON -1 for property located north of CR 512 <br />and west of the St. Sebastian River. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99- 18 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RM -6 TO CON -1 FOR <br />PROPERTY LOCATED ALONG SR AIA BETWEEN SEA OAKS AND INDIAN RIVER <br />SHORES; AND FROM RS -1 AND A-1 TO CON -1 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED WEST OF SR <br />AIA, AT THE INTERSECTION WITH JUNGLE TRAIL; AND FROM A-1 AND A-2 TO CON -1 <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF CR 512 AND WEST OF THE ST. SEBASTIAN <br />RIVER, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in <br />conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held two public hearings pursuant to <br />this rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; <br />JULY 27,1999 <br />42 <br />
