Napier, SRPA, SRA`1W.1 <br />Right -of -Way Agent <br />SUBJECT: Right -of -Way Acquisltion/County Project No. 9705 <br />Oslo Road and 431d Avenue Intersection Improvements <br />Parcel No. 203, Hurley Ray Rountree, Jr. <br />DATE: September 3, 1999 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />An additional twenty4our feet (241) of right-of-way is needed along the north side of Os to <br />Road in conjunction with the Oslo Road and 43rd Avenue Intersection Improvements <br />Project The owner has executed a contract at a negotiated purchase price of $1.50 per <br />square foot for the C -H zoned land. This price per square foot is comparable to other <br />similar C -H zoned parcels the County has purchased based upon appraisals or <br />evaluations. <br />The Contract Price is $19,080.00 based upon a total area of 12,720 square feet. There <br />are no appraisal or attorney fees. As noted in the contract, the County will be responsible <br />for re -working the grove drainage and access road at County expense. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the $19,080.00 purchase, <br />and authorize the Chairman to execute the contract. <br />Funding will be from Account #315-214-541-066.12. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />1) Contract <br />2) Legal Description <br />SEPTEMBER 21, 1999 <br />58 <br />_I <br />
