• <br />r <br />PROCLAMATION <br />HONORING MARTIN P. WHITE ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMPLOYMENT ON <br />OCTOBER 4,1999 <br />WHEREAS, MARTIN P. WHITE announces his retirement from Indian River <br />County Department of Emergency Services, Fire Division and the Indian River County <br />Board of County Commissioners effective October 4, 1999; and <br />WHEREAS, MARTIN P. WHITE moved to Vero Beach from Booneville, <br />North Carolina in 1966 to start a new career and to raise a family of three sons; and <br />WHEREAS, MARTIN P. WHITE was employed by the Vero Beach Fire <br />Department on February 28, 1972 as a Firefighter, was promoted to Engineer on July <br />3,1976; to Lieutenant on March 7, 1982, serving in that capacity for the past seventeen <br />years. He has earned the respect and admiration of the community and will be sorely <br />missed by his co-workers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that <br />the Board expresses its deep appreciation for the services MARTIN P.
