BOOK 3 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-120 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD <br />OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A FEE <br />FOR AN APPLICATION UNDER <br />THE TITLE LOAN ORDINANCE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that it is in <br />the public interest to license the motor vehicle title loan industry and that the industry <br />should bear the expense of administering the licensing requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, these costs have been determined as set forth below in this <br />resolution, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />1. Whenever a person wants to operate a motor vehicle title loan business in <br />Indian River County, said person shall file an application on the prescribed form with <br />the Department of Community Affairs. An initial application fee of $100.00 shall <br />accompany said application. <br />2. Any application for annual renewal of a motor vehicle title loan <br />authorization shall be accompanied by a fee of $50.00. <br />The resolution was moved to adoption by Commissioner <br />Ginn and the motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Stanbridge , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Kenneth R. Macht <br />Aye <br />Vice Chairman Fran B. Adams <br />Absent <br />Commissioner John Tippin <br />Aye <br />Commissioner Caroline D. Ginn <br />Aye <br />Commissioner Ruth M.
