MOORINGS PUBLIC NAVIGATION CHANNEL <br />DREDGING - IR -99-27 FIND (FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION <br />DISTRICTI WATERWAYS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM AGREEMENT <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of October 22, 1999: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Moorings Public Navigation Channel Dredging <br />UL -99-27 FIND Waterways Assistance Program Agreement <br />DATE: October 22,1999 <br />The Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) has selected this project to receive a grant m the <br />amount of $30,000.00. The project includes dredging an existing navigatable channel in the Indian <br />River and replacing day beacons. The Moorings Yacht Club will fund the remaining $20.000.(x1 <br />match. The total project cost estimate is $50,000.00. <br />The attacbed "Project Agreement" must be signed and returned to the Florida Inland Navigation <br />District m order to reeve the grant. Reimbursement may be requested in installments or upon <br />completion of the project. Ten percent (10%) of each installment payment will be retained by FIND <br />until completion of the project. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND F[INDINC. <br />Staff recommends that the Board authorize the Chairman to execute the Agreement. No County <br />funding is required. The Project Liaison will be James W.
