There being none, the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Tippin, the Board <br />unanimously adopted Ordinance 99-034 amending <br />the Zoning Ordinance and the accompanying Zoning <br />Map from A-1 and RM -6 to RM -8 for property <br />located on the north side of SR -60, approximately <br />800 feet west of 74t` Avenue (Robert B. Balogh, <br />Trustee, et al). <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99- 34 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM A-1 AND RM -6 TO RM -8, <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SR 60, APPROXIMATELY 800 FEET <br />WEST OF 74TH AVENUE, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in <br />conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing for this rezoning <br />request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOVEMBER 16, 1999 <br />-100- <br />0 0 <br />
