ANALYSIS <br />The COUNTY operates and maintains a publicly owned Residuals Management Facility (Dewatering Facility) <br />at the Central Regional WWTF, permit #FLA -010434-001, which is capable of accepting domestic wastewater <br />residual from outside sources. The facility has been given approval and is operating under Florida Department of <br />Environmental protection (FDEP) permit in compliance with Florida Administrative Code (FAC), Chapter 62- <br />640, to properly treat and dispose of domestic wastewater residuals. <br />The CUSTOMER shall provide all transportation of residuals and will be charged the prevailing rates as <br />shown on the Schedule of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and Charges, attached to the Agreement <br />RFCONII�RENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve <br />the attached Domestic Wastewater Residual Agreement as presented, and authorize the Chairman to execute the <br />same. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Grin, the Board <br />unanimously approved the Agreement for <br />Transportation, Treatment and Disposal of Domestic <br />Wastewater Residual with The Woodlands of Lake <br />Placid, L.P. and authorized the Chairman to execute <br />same, as recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />NOVEMBER 16, 1999 <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />-153- <br />BOOK .'.
