BOOK i'lff,ur <br />PROCLAMATION <br />DESIGNATING DECEMBER 12 to 18, 1999 <br />AS A WEEK TO CELEBRATE <br />THE CENTER FOR THE ARTS <br />WHEREAS, The Center for the Arts first opened its doors on February 1, 1986 as a <br />Cultural and educational institution to provide enrichment opportunities for all residents of <br />the Treasure Coast; and <br />WHEREAS, The Center for the Arts not only fulfilled its mission, it surpassed it and <br />need outgrew the space provided; and <br />WHEREAS, The Center for the Arts is fortunate to have in its membership citizens of <br />foresight and leadership who mounted a successful Expansion Campaign to enlarge the <br />existing facility; and <br />WHEREAS, The Center for the Arts has completed the expansion and renovation <br />phase of its rebuilding and is now ready to open its doors and provide increased services to <br />our community; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Florida, that Sunday, December 12, <br />1999 through Saturday, December 18, 1999 be designated as <br />CELEBRATION WEEK FOR THE CENTER FOR THE ARTS <br />and the Board does hereby express its appreciation and the congratulations of all citizens of <br />Indian River County. <br />Adopted this 7th day of December, 1999. <br />December 7, 1999 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Kenneth R.
