• <br />6. On September 21, 1999, the Board of Commissioners approved an EMS County <br />Awards Grant for FY 1999/2000. The attached entry appropriates $51,866 in grant <br />funds. <br />7. The phone system in the Administration Building needs a telephone circuit card to <br />handle additional capacity. The attached entry appropriates funding from General <br />Fund contingencies. <br />8. Emergency Services has received reimbursement from Indian River Community <br />College for educational services. The attached entry appropriates these funds forthe <br />purpose of training Emergency Services District employees. <br />9. The Budget Office laptop computer quit working in late 1999 and needs to be <br />replaced. The attached entry appropriates funding from General Fund contingencies. <br />10. On December 21, 1999, The Board of Commissioners approved a license agreement <br />for the use of right of way for St. John's River Water Management District in the <br />amount of $2,076. Funding is from M.S.T.U. reserve for contingencies. <br />11. Funds were approved in the FY 1998/99 budget for a tourism study. The attached <br />entry moves these funds into the current year. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget <br />amendment. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously approved Miscellaneous Budget <br />Amendment #005, as recommended by staff. <br />FEBRUARY 8, 2000 <br />-15- <br />• <br />
