Ar.=RtaAT=S AND ANALYSIS <br />The alternatives are as follows: <br />Alternative No. 1 <br />Authorize County staff to proceed with the traffic camera <br />installation. <br />Alternative No. 2 <br />Reject staff proposal and cancel the project. <br />RZCgI2flQ=T0NS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends Alternative No. 1 - authorize County staff to <br />proceed with the traffic camera installation. The FDOT has agreed <br />to reimburse the County for 100% of the project cost, through the <br />FDOT/County traffic signal maintenance agreement. <br />Commissioner Ginn commented that the 17'h Street and AIA intersection would also <br />benefit from this type of signal. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously <br />authorized staff to proceed with the closed circuit <br />video camera traffic signal system, as recommended <br />by staff. <br />February 22, 2000 <br />-41- <br />
