I <br />BOOK LI (21 <br />Utilities Director Don Hubbs explained that this is a project which was separated out <br />of a larger project and that staff had approached the project through public education, <br />personal contact and informational meetings. Staff also developed a brochure to be handed <br />out to the public. (CLERK'S NOTE: Copy of brochure is on file with the backup for today's <br />meeting.) <br />Commissioner Ginn thanked staff for their approach and felt they did a tremendous <br />job with the project. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board <br />unanimously authorized staff to complete the in- <br />house design of the proposed project and proceed <br />with the assessment process defining the scope of <br />the assessment project and setting a public hearing <br />date, as recommended by staff. <br />III.
