BOOK 'A'JL _ <br />Pursuant to Paragraph 6(G) of the lease agreement, the Company has provided the required written <br />notice to the County that they are terminating the Lease. <br />In the interim and until a final determination is made by FPL, the Company is planning on a <br />temporary installation at the North IRC Bailey Street Tower for their 900 MHz radio system which <br />will be presented to the Board for consideration when negotiations have been completed. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends Board approval of the FPL Tower and Ground Space Lease termination effective <br />May 7. 2000. <br />ATTACHMENT: <br />Letter from FPL dated February 28, 2000. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Macht absent) approved termination of the <br />Florida Power and Light Company Tower and Ground Space <br />Lease at the Hobart Tower effective May 7, 2000, as <br />recommended in the memorandum. <br />11.C.1.
