SEBASTIAN RIVER BUFFER PRESERVE - ROAD AND <br />BRIDGE SPREAD FILL <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of March 1, 2000: <br />TO: James E. Davis, P.E., <br />9 V, <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Relocation of Airmasters from Fairgrounds to <br />St. Sebastian River Buffer Preserve <br />DATE: March 1, 2000 <br />Due to increased activity at the Fairgrounds, the Airmasters Remote <br />Model Airplane Club has secured a lease at the St. Sebastian River <br />Buffer Preserve north of CR512. The site they have acquired is low <br />and needs fill. The State has approximately 6,000 cubic yards of <br />fill near the site that can be donated to the club, and the club is <br />requesting that the County haul and spread the fill in the leased <br />area. Staff projects that it will take a week to perform the work <br />using one front-end loader, one grader, eight dump trucks, ten <br />operators, two maintenance workers, and a supervisor.
