Such bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk Circuit court. <br />The warrants so issued from the respective funds being listed completely in the Uounty <br />finance record as provided by law, reference to said record and the list so recorded <br />being made a, part of these minutes as fully and completely as if the same were set out <br />herein in detail. <br />The Tax Assessor having heretofore presented his books showing the assessed <br />valuation of property for examination by the Board in compliance with the requirements <br />1 ,.1 <br />of Section 934 Compiled General Laws the Board again resolved itself into a Board of <br />Equalizers for the purpose of hearing complaints and receiving testimony as to the <br />value of any property, real, personal or mixed, as fixed by the County Assessor of <br />taxes for assessment for the taxes for the year 1934, and also to consider such com- <br />plaints as heretofore laid before the Board. The owners and agents of property, who <br />appeared for that purpose, were allowed to make full and complete statements as to the <br />valuation of the property owned or represented by them and the Tax Assessor and the <br />members of the Board having fully discussed the statements and facts as presented <br />decided not to increase or lower the valuation of any property on the said roll. <br />it was thereupon ordered that the iax assessor be and is hereby instructed to <br />assess the property at the valuation fixed by himself as Tax Assessor. <br />There being no further business on motion mode, seconded and carried the Board <br />then adjourned until thurddny, July 5th 1934. <br />0. <br />ATTEST: 77 Chairman <br />A <br />- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -s- - - - - - - - - - <br />THURSDAY, JULY 5th 1934. <br />U.e Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met at the Court House, <br />at Vero Beach, on this the 5th day of July, 1934, and the following County Commissioners <br />were present: J.J.P.Hamilton, Chairman; X.E.Mudge; John M. Knight and Edwin -A.Helseth. <br />Also present were an W Frick, 'Sheriff; Chas. A. Idtohell, attorney for the Board and <br />Miles Warren, Clerk. <br />it was ordered that Mrs. Francis Sloan of wabasso be placed on the pauper list to <br />receive the sum of 46.00 per month until the further orders of the Board. <br />It was ordered that Commissioner Knight and Road Superintendent Kersey be named a <br />committee to purchase a truck for County use. <br />Road Supt. Kersey was directed and authorized to sell old Model "TO Ford to <br />0. H. Stephens, for the sum of 425.00 <br />
