COUNTY ATTORNEY - RESOLUTION 2000-022 AMENDING <br />RESOLUTION 86-104 WHICH ESTABLISHED THE PUBLIC <br />LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of March 8, 2000: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Terrence P. O'Brien, Acting County Attomeylv'—'7�' <br />DATE: March 8, 2000 <br />RE: Public Library Advisory Board <br />At the regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners on March 7 the <br />Board considered changing the Public Library Advisory Board to nine members <br />and those Commissioners present selected district representatives. The attached <br />resolution that changes the Board to nine members was discussed but the <br />minutes do not reflect that it was voted on. In addition, a district selection by <br />Commissioner Macht is necessary and also the selection of at large members. <br />In view of the foregoing a resolution is attached for Board action and a list of <br />recent appointments is attached for ease of reference. <br />Commissioner Macht requested that Jean Versteeg, Kathleen Bishop and Frank <br />Coffey be appointed to fill the at -large positions. He also requested that Margaret <br />Kamakaris' name be spelled correctly and noted that he will make his District appointment <br />at a later date. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board <br />umanimously agreed to the at -large appointments and <br />adopted Resolution 2000-022 amending Resolution <br />March 14, 2000 <br />1986-104 which established the Public Library <br />-64- <br />
