Commissioner Ginn felt she could not approve this project and questioned the status <br />of the purchase of the parcels south of Oslo and east of US#1. <br />Environmental Planning Chief Roland DeBlois advised that staff is continuing to <br />negotiate on those parcels. There is little threat of development on those parcels as they are <br />mostly wetlands. <br />APRIL 49 2000 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Stanbridge, the <br />Board, by a 4-1 vote (Commissioner Giem opposed) <br />approved the Grant Award Agreement and <br />Purchaser's Reconciliation of Total Project Costs <br />Statements for purchase of the Casey, Salama, and <br />Emerson parcels; authorized staff to take the actions <br />necessary to finalize closing of the purchases in <br />coordination with the Florida Communities Trust; <br />and authorized the Chairman to execute the <br />documentation; all as recommended by staff. <br />CLOSING DOCUMENTATION IS ON <br />FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />
