Depicted in Figure 1, the subject <br />property is located at the northeast comer of 27" Avenue and 14'x' Street, SW. <br />On March 9, 2000, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5 to 0 to recommend that the Board <br />of County Commissioners approve this request to rezone the subject property to RS -6. <br />Rarkgmund <br />When the county's first comprehensive plan was adopted in 1982, the subject property contained a <br />contractor's business and was allowed to retain its existing legally established commercial zoning <br />district even though the site was given a residential future land use designation.
