VERO LAKE ESTATES STORMWATER <br />IMPROVEMENTS - WORK ORDER #6 TO <br />PROFESSIONAL CIVIL SERVICES MASTER <br />AGREEMENT - CARTER ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of April 5, 2000: <br />TO: James Chandler, County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.E., Public Works Director <br />FROM: Christopher J. Kafer, Jr., P.E., County Engin <br />SUBJECT: Vero Lake Estates Stormwater Improvemen- Work Order No. 6 to the <br />Professional Civil Services Master Agreement between Carter Associates, <br />Inc. and Indian River County Florida <br />DATE: April 5, 2000 <br />On August 4, 1998, at their regular meeting, the Board of County Commissioners authorized the <br />Chairman to execute the Professional Civil Services Master Agreement, between Carter Associates, <br />Inc. and Indian River County, for Stormwater Management Improvements. Attached is Work Order <br />No. 6 for engineering design for construction plans and specifications as described in Section of <br />Work Order No. 6. The scope of services for Phase 1 of the Vero lake Estates Stormwater <br />Improvements is being expanded to channel more water to the proposed lakes, as requested by the <br />St. John's River Water Management District. Carter Associates, Inc. will provide engineering <br />services and also perform and provide topographic and land surveying information required of all <br />areas of work. The Engineer will coordinate with the County to assure access to the property. <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners authorize the Chairman to execute the <br />attached Work Order No. 6. <br />Funding to be from account no. 185-214-541-033.13. <br />APRIL 189 2000 <br />-49- <br />• <br />BOOK A3 PAGE hl <br />
