ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board <br />unanimously adopted Resolution 2000-047 setting a <br />time and place at which the owners of properties <br />located in the areas of Dixie Heights, a portion of <br />Dixie Gardens, and Piney Oaks Subdivisions may <br />appear before the Board of County Commissioners <br />and be heard as to the propriety and advisability of <br />constructing the water main extension, as to the cost <br />thereof, as to the manner of payment therefor, and as <br />to the amount thereof to be specially assessed <br />against each property benefited thereby. <br />Thee and Place (Second Reso.) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 047 <br />BOOK iiJ PAGE L20 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING A TIME <br />AND PLACE AT WHICH THE OWNERS OF PROPERTIES LOCATED IN <br />THE AREAS OF DIXIE HEIGHTS, A PORTION OF DIXIE GARDENS, AND <br />PINEY OAKS SUBDIVISIONS MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND BE HEARD AS TO THE PROPRIETY <br />AND ADVISABILITY OF CONSTRUCTING THE WATER MAIN <br />EXTENSION, AS TO THE COST THEREOF, AS TO THE MANNER OF <br />PAYMENT THEREFOR, AND AS TO THE AMOUNT THEREOF TO BE <br />SPECIALLY ASSESSED AGAINST EACH PROPERTY BENEFITED <br />THEREBY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br />Resolution No. 2000-Q4§__, determined that it is necessary for the public welfare of the citizens <br />of the county, and particularly as to those living, working, and owning property within the area <br />described hereafter, that waterlines be installed to serve 723 lots located in the areas of Dude <br />Heights, a portion of Dixie Gardens, and Piney Oaks Subdivisions; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost to be specially assessed with respect <br />thereto shall be $0.260709 per square foot; and <br />APRIL 189 2000 <br />-70- <br />
