Collins II, Deputy County Attorney <br />APPROVED AS TO PLANNING MATTERS <br />Community Development <br />u\v\j\lu\tcollins\rzonord2.wpd <br />Mr. Collins then recounted that when he signed the original agreement for a 2,000 <br />square foot home, he had on his marked -up copy the word "approximately" to follow the <br />22000 square feet. The limitation on the square footage at that time had to do with a septic <br />tank issue. The Health Department's letter on the septic tank, however, allows him to build <br />a 2,250 square foot house. It was only recently that he noticed that the "approximately" was <br />not on the agreement, but he had given his architect the letter from the Health Department <br />and the architect had used the 2,250 square foot size to design the house. He had also just <br />recently learned (because of flood zones) that all liveable area has to be above 912 feet, so <br />he cannot use any of the first floor and some of that area may have to be included in the <br />May 2, 2000 <br />63 <br />BOOK hJ PAGE 248 <br />
