Keating, AIqP <br />Community Developm nt Di <br />FROM: Stan Boling, AICP <br />Planning Director <br />SUBJECT: Notice of Scheduled Public Hearings for the May 9, 2000 Board Meeting <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County <br />Commissioners at its regular meeting of May 2, 2000. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Please be advised that the following public hearings have been scheduled for Board consideration <br />at its May 9, 2000 meeting. <br />1. LDR (land development regulation) amendments, as follows: <br />A. Plan Set Submittal Requirements: to be changed from seven (7) to ten (10) plan sets <br />for initial submittals for preliminary plat, site plan, and planned development <br />applications (Legislative). <br />B. Setbacks for Schools: to be changed to allow the Board of County Commissioners <br />to reduce the current 100' setback for schools where proposed school facilities are to <br />be located adjacent to non-residential uses in higher density zoning districts <br />(Legislative). <br />2. Board consideration and formal selection of categories for Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG) applications (Legislative). <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The above referenced public hearing date is provided for the Board's information.
