Baird <br />Assistant CountyCi,nis"lor <br />FROM: <br />Jason E. Brown <br />1 <br />Budget Manager <br />i <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. On October 26, 1999, the Board of Commissioners approved funding for the a of July <br />fireworks displays for Sebastian and Vero Beach. Funding will come from the M.S.T.U. <br />reserve for contingencies. <br />2. Sandridge has received reimbursement for warranty work on golf carts completed by County <br />Staff. The attached entry appropriates these funds. <br />3. The County has received a Local Assistance Program (LAP) Grant for design and <br />construction of the Jungle Trail/Pelican Island Wildlife Enhancement Project in the amount <br />of $700,000. Additionally, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has provided a grant of $50,000 <br />for the project.
