DeBlois; A1CP <br />Chief, Environmental Planning <br />& Code Enforcement <br />FROM: Kelly Zedek �' <br />Code Enforcement Officer <br />DATE: 05/15/2000 <br />RE: PAUL JULIN REQUEST FOR PARTIAL RELEASE OF EASEMENT AT <br />1896 20TH AV SW (VERO BEACH HIGHLANDS SUB UNIT 4) <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County <br />Commissioners at its regular meeting of May 23, 2000. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The County has been petitioned by Paul Julin, owner of a lot at 1896 20th Avenue SW, for release <br />of a portion of a six foot -wide side yard drainage and utility easement. The purpose of the easement <br />release request is allow for the construction of a driveway in a portion of the easement (see attached <br />maps). <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The request has been reviewed by Bell South Communications; Florida Power & Light Corporation; <br />T.C.I. Cable Corporation; the Indian River County Utilities Department; the County Road & Bridge <br />and Engineering Divisions; and the County surveyor. None of the utility providers or reviewing <br />agencies expressed an objection to the requested release of easement. Therefore, it is staff's <br />position that the requested easement release would have no adverse impact to utilities being <br />supplied to the subject properties or to other properties. <br />MAY 239 2000 <br />-15- BOOK pL PAGE <br />
