BOOK PAGE q'-" <br />Ms. Hubbard stated that the federal dollars are available only if there is a consistent, <br />consolidated plan between the private and public sectors and state and local governments. <br />MAY 23, 2000 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Tippin, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, the Board <br />unanimously (4-0, Commissioner Macht absent) <br />approved the application for $303,000 in Supportive <br />Housing Program (SHP) funds to: (1) partially fund <br />the rehabilitation of an existing structure and (2) to <br />assist in paying for the required supportive services <br />provided for homeless families with children by the <br />proposed Family OPTIONS Transitional Housing <br />Program and for $265,000 in Supportive Housing <br />Program (SHP) funds to partially fund The Options <br />Team Supportive Services Project which will <br />provide supportive services to no less than 250 <br />individuals and families, during the three-year term <br />of this grant, as recommended, and directed that all <br />additional information be submitted and the matter <br />brought back before the Board within the next 30 <br />days. <br />COPIES OF APPLICATIONS ARE ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />-68- <br />
