the foregoing estimates as made by the board and published in the vero beach 2r
<br />Jounnal, a newspaper published in the County in the issues of said newspaper on the 13t;
<br />and 20th days of July, 1934, was then taken up, considered, and finally adopted. the
<br />Board then proceeded with the matter of fixing the rate of taxation for uounty and 'pec
<br />]district purposes for the year 1934, and after caref'ul3w consideration of the estimates
<br />of receipts and the estimates of expenditures it -was determination of the board that th
<br />rate of taxation necessary to meet such expenses would be for each of the following
<br />mentioned purposes the amounts estimated, declared and levied, Vi se.
<br />In order to meet the estimated current expenses of the uounty of Indian River of
<br />*22,731.559 it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of oeven (7) mills
<br />upon the dollar be levied and is hereby imposed upon all of the property lying and bei
<br />in the uounty of indian River on the first day of January, 1934, for the GEIW9 L FUND,
<br />to meet the current expenses of the county and to provide for the expenditure as eetia
<br />mated in the budget hereinbefore set forth*
<br />to meet the expenses estimated to be necessary to be paid out of the
<br />TUBE FLW9 the sum of 411,302.809 it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate
<br />of Three (3) mills upon the dollar be levied, assessed, and is hereby imposed upon all
<br />the property lying and being in the county of Indian diver on the first day of January,
<br />1934s for the irine and Yorfeiture Lund, to meet the current expenses as estimated in th
<br />budget.
<br />to cover the amount of the estimated expenses for keeping the county Roads in good
<br />shape and repair and for the construction and repairing of bridges and other necessary
<br />expenses to keep the roads of the county in good condition and provide other roads
<br />when necessary of 416,335.61, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of
<br />'Six (6) mills upon the dollar be levied, assessed, and is hereby imposed upon all of the
<br />property lying and being in the County of Indian River on the first day of January,19349
<br />to meet the current expenses of the County as estimated in the budget.
<br />To meet the interest payments and provide a sinking fund for the ultimate redemptio
<br />of County bonds, county Time currants, and pro -rat& debt due �-t Lucie County, Florida, I
<br />pursuance of the requirements of the law the -sum of X209451.559 it is determined and
<br />hereby declared that a tax rate of Seven (7) mills upon the dollar be levied, assessed,
<br />and is hereby imposed upon all the property lying and being in the County of Indian

<br />To meet the current expenses incidental and necessary to the operation of the Publi
<br />schools of the county, and to pay the salaries of teachers, bus drivers, and repair
<br />school houses as estimated by the county board of Public instruction, the sum of
<br />*61,488.56, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of ten (10) mills upon
<br />the dollar be levied, assessed, and is hereby imposed upon all the property in the
<br />County of Indian River on the first day of January, 1934, for the GZAERAL SCHOOL .FUND.
<br />To meet the outstanding indebtedness, and interest thereon, according to the
<br />estimates or budget the sum of X33,990.88, it is determined and hereby declared that a
<br />tax mate
