Chandler, County Administrator <br />Thomas Frame, General Services Director -i c«"4 <br />FROM: Fran Boynton -Powell, Purchasing Manager •j.,C�-- <br />SUBJECT Declare Equipment Surplus for Sale or Disposal _ <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The attached list of equipment has been declared excess to the needs of the County and should <br />be disposed of in accordance with the provisions of Florida State Statutes. The attached list has <br />been posted in Microsoft Outlook Inbox under "All Public Folders" on the County network. <br />A joint auction with the City of Vero Beach, City of Sebastian, the School District and the <br />Sheriff is scheduled for July 15, 2000 at the City of Vero Beach Warehouse facility. The money <br />received from the sale will be appropriately deposited within the appropriate accounts. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners declare the list of excess property as <br />surplus and authorize its sale and/or proper disposal. <br />ON MOTIONby Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board unanimously declared the <br />list of excess property as surplus and authorized its sale and/or <br />proper disposal, as recommended in the memorandum. <br />June 20, 2000 <br />19 <br />• <br />� <br />BOOK r'AG71-idE <br />
