The state has notified the County that they are being awarded the Edward Byrne <br />Memorial State Grant in the amount of $171,404 (which requires a $57,135 match shared equally <br />by Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin County) and the National Criminal history Improvement <br />Program in the amount of $246,500, which does not require a match. <br />Recommendation <br />Authorize the Chairman to sign the Certification of Acceptance of Subgrant Award for the above <br />mentioned grants. <br />JULY 119 2000 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Tippin, the Board <br />unanimously authorized the Chairman to sign the <br />Certification of Acceptance of SubGrant Award for <br />the Edward Byrne Memorial State Grant and <br />National Criminal History Improvement Program for <br />Circuit Court, as recommended by staff. <br />CERTIFICATES OF ACCEPTANCE ARE ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />-30- <br />BK 114 PG 046 <br />I <br />
