ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously (4-0, Vice <br />Chairman Ginn absent) adopted Resolution No. 2000-081 <br />setting a time and place at which the owners of properties <br />located along 28'h Avenue (north of 4' Street) may appear <br />before the Board of County Commissioners and be heard as to <br />the propriety and advisability of constructing the water main <br />extension, as to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment <br />therefor, and as to the amount thereof to be specially assessed <br />against each property benefitted thereby. <br />Time and Place (Second Reso.) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 081 <br />7/00(reso/28avewater)DC/Ck <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING A TIME <br />AND PLACE AT WHICH THE OWNERS OF PROPERTIES LOCATED <br />ALONG 281" AVENUE (NORTH OF 4TH STREET) MAY APPEAR BEFORE <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND BE HEARD AS TO THE <br />PROPRIETY AND ADVISABILITY OF CONSTRUCTING THE WATER MAIN <br />EXTENSION, AS TO THE COST THEREOF, AS TO THE MANNER OF <br />PAYMENT THEREFOR, AND AS TO THE AMOUNT THEREOF TO BE <br />SPECIALLY ASSESSED AGAINST EACH PROPERTY BENEFITED <br />THEREBY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br />Resolution No. 2000- 080. determined that it is necessary for the public welfare of the <br />citizens of the county, and particularly as to those living, working, and owning property within <br />the area described hereafter, that waterlines be installed to serve six lots located in the area of <br />28th Avenue north of 41 Street; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the cost to be specially assessed with respect <br />thereto shall be $0.256861 per square foot; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has caused an assessment roll to be <br />completed and filed with the Clerk to the Board; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 206.06, Indian River County Code, requires that the Board of <br />County Commissioners shall fix a time and place at which the owners of the properties to be <br />assessed or any other persons interested therein may appear before the Board of County <br />Commissioners and be heard as to the propriety and advisability of constructing such water <br />main extension, as to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment therefor, and as to the <br />amount thereof to be assessed against each property benefited thereby, <br />August 1, 2000 <br />86 <br />K 114 F6 426 <br />0 0 <br />
