B.A.1. CHAIRMAN FRAN B. ADAMS - CIVIC USERS AND <br />MULTI -FAMILY LAND USES IN SPECIAL <br />EXCEPTIONS <br />Chairman Adams stated that she had received a request from the VFW to use a <br />property on 26' Street adjacent to the Mall. Regulations do not currently allow for this use <br />in this zoning category. She asked for a direction to staff to bring back regulations for a <br />special exception use for this type of property in this zoning. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Macht, the Board, <br />by a 4-0 vote (Vice Chairman Ginn absent) <br />unanimously directed staff to bring back a <br />recommendation regarding a special exception use <br />for civic organizations and non -profits such as the <br />Veterans of Foreign Wars. <br />13.A.2.
