I <br />DATE: August 8, 2000 <br />SUBJECT: Notice of Scheduled Public Hearings for the August 22, 2000 Board Meeting <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County <br />Commissioners at its regular meeting of August 15, 2000. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />Please be advised that the following public hearings have been scheduled for Board consideration <br />at its August 22, 2000 meeting. <br />1. Wayne D. Clayton, Owner. C. Kennon Hendrix. Agent. Request to rezone approximately <br />±7.3 acres from C1, Limited Commercial District, and A-1, Agricultural District (up to 1 <br />unit/5 acres), to CG, General Commercial District. The subject property is located on the <br />east side of 82nd Avenue, ±250 feet south of SR 60. Land Use Designation: C/I, <br />Commercial/Industrial (Quasi Judicial). <br />2. Hovnanian Companies of Florida. Inc., Owner. Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., Agent. <br />To request conceptual planned development special exception use and concurrent <br />preliminary PD approval for a 100 lot single-family development to be known as Seasons <br />Community. The subject property is located at the southeast corner of CR 510 and Jungle <br />Trail. Zoning Classifications: RM -6, Residential Multi -Family (up to 6 units/acre) and <br />CON -2, Conservation 2 (up to 1 unit/40 acres). Land Use Designations: L-2, Low Density <br />2 (up to 6 units/acre) and C-2, Conservation 2 (up to 1 unit/40 acres). Density Proposed: <br />2.70 units/acre (Legislative). <br />3. LDR (Land Development Regulation) amendment: follow-up on regulations for free-standing <br />signs near I-95 in the SR 60 corridor (Legislative). <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The above referenced public hearing date is provided for the Board's information.
