Chandler, County Administrator <br />Thomas Frame, General Services Director - '44a U)• <br />FROM: Fran Powell, Purchasing Managers d ozac� <br />SUBJECT: Declare Equipment Surplus for Sale or Disposal <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The attached list of equipment has been determined to be excess to the needs of the County and <br />should be disposed in accordance with the provisions of the Florida State Statutes. The list has <br />been circulated to various departments to determine their needs for any of the excess equipment <br />or vehicles. The money received from the sale will be appropriately deposited within appropriate <br />accounts. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners declare the list of excess property as <br />surplus and authorize their sale or appropriate disposal. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Grin, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board <br />unanimously declared the list of excess property as <br />surplus and authorized its sale or appropriate <br />disposal, as recommended by staff. <br />SEPTEMBER 12, 2000 <br />BK 1 IS PG 059 <br />• <br />-12- <br />• <br />
