It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the Chairman closed the <br />public hearing. <br />Assistant Administrator Baird read the title for the proposed resolution for the tax <br />millage rate in the amount of 2.4913 which is 3.76% above the rollback rate. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED BY Vice Chairman Ginn, to adopt the proposed <br />resolution establishing the tax millage rate (2.4913) to be levied <br />upon all real and personal taxable property in Indian River <br />County, Florida, for Fiscal Year 2000-2001 for the Indian River <br />County Emergency Services District. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Macht commented that there are several aspects of <br />emergency services impinging this item which he would like to develop in the coming <br />months. <br />Commissioner Stanbridge agreed. <br />Vice Chairman Ginn concurred and thought the composition of the advisory <br />committee needed to be addressed. <br />Commissioner Macht commented that Mr. Robinson's points were well taken and <br />while Commissioner Macht did not know what the distribution should be, he wanted to hear <br />a lot more about it in the future. <br />Vice Chairman Ginn agreed there were some problems that need to be resolved and <br />if she had know there would be a negative presentation at this meeting, she would have <br />brought confirmation on the number of calls for Station 6. <br />Chairman Adams pointed out that the number of calls mentioned today was for the <br />September 12, 2000 <br />16 <br />BK 115 PG 130 <br />
