Since the final assessment to the benefitted owners is less than the preliminary assessment roll, the <br />only alternative presented is to approve the final assessment roll. <br />It is recommended that the final assessment roll and the "As -Built Resolution" for the paving of the <br />above mentioned road be approved by the Board of County Commissioners and that it be transferred <br />to the Department of Utility Services for billing and collection. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Ginn, the Board <br />unanimously adopted Resolution 2000-128 <br />certifying "as -built" costs for certain paving and <br />drainage improvements to 1t Street between 16th <br />Avenue and 18' Avenue, designated as Project No. <br />9721. <br />As -Built (Fourth Reso.) 3/25/97(ENG)RES4.MAG\gk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 128 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY CERTIFYING <br />"AS -BUILT" COSTS FOR CERTAIN PAVING AND <br />DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO is` STREET BETWEEN <br />16TH AVENUE AND 18TH AVENUE, DESIGNATED AS <br />PROJECT NO. 9721, AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION - — <br />NECESSITATED BY SUCH PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR <br />FORMAL COMPLETION DATE, AND DATE FOR PAYMENT <br />WITHOUT PENALTY AND INTEREST. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County <br />determined that the improvements described herein specially benefitted the property located <br />within the boundaries as described in this title, designated as Project No. 9721, are in the public <br />interest and promote the public welfare of the county; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 6, 1999, the Board held a public hearing in the <br />Commission Chambers at which time the owners of the property to be assessed were afforded an <br />opportunity to appear before the Board to be heard as to the propriety and advisability of making <br />such improvements; and <br />OCTOBER 10, 2000 <br />-57- <br />001K 115 PG 454 <br />
