5. Request for authorization for the community development director to make application for <br />a community development block grant in the economic development category (Legislative) <br />6. Purchase of the Simmons and Andre Parcels of the Oyster Bar Salt Marsh LAAC Site under <br />the County Environmental Lands Program (Legislative). <br />7. Proposed LDR Amendments: Rooster Limitations; Road Names; Civic and Social <br />Membership Clubs; Group Homes and ALFs; CR 510 East Corridor Entry Features <br />(Legislative). <br />Please be advised that the following public hearing has been scheduled for Board consideration at <br />its November 14, 2000, meeting. <br />1. County initiated request to amend the Comprehensive Plan to: <br />A. redesignate x,361 acres located northwest of the intersection of I-95 and CR 512, <br />south of the C-54 Canal, and east of Babcock Street, from AG -1, Agricultural -1 (up <br />to 1 unit/5 acres), and AG -2, Agricultural -2, (up to 1 unit/10 acres), to C-1, Publicly <br />Owned Conservation -1 (zero density), and rezone those x,361 acres from A-1, <br />Agricultural District (up to 1 unit/5 acres), and A-2, Agricultural District (up to 1 <br />unit/10 acres), to Con -1, Public Lands Conservation District (zero density); <br />B. redesignate x.288 acres located at the southeast corner of 130' Avenue and 77" <br />Street from AG -2, Agricultural -2 (up to 1 unit/10 acres), to C-1, Publicly Owned <br />Conservation -1 (zero density), and rezone those x,288 acres from A-2, Agricultural <br />District (up to 1 unit/10 acres), to Con -1, Public Lands Conservation District (zero <br />density); <br />C. redesignate ±44.4 acres located on the west side of Jungle Trail, north of Windsor, <br />from L-1, Low -Density Residential -1 (up to 3 units/acre), to C-1, Publicly Owned <br />Conservation -1 (zero density), and rezone those ±44.4 acres from A-1, Agricultural <br />District (up to 1 unit/5 acres), to Con -1, Public Lands Conservation District (zero <br />density); and <br />D. redesignate ±20 acres located on the west side of 58' Avenue, approximately an <br />eighth of a mile south of 491 Street, from L-2, Low -Density Residential -2 (up to 6 <br />unitstacre), to C-1, Publicly Owned Conservation -1 (zero density), and rezone those <br />±20 acres from RS -3, Single -Family Residential District (up to 3 units/acre), to Con - <br />1, Public Lands Conservation District (zero density). (Legislative) <br />2. Minor J. Platt Jr.'s Request for Special Exception Use Approval for an Outdoor Gun Range <br />on a 25 Acre Parcel (Quasi -Judicial). <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The above referenced public hearing dates are provided for the Board's information.
